Now that I see what you meant, here are my thoughts on the matter. For instance, those proto-waypoints are Adouling content. And thats how they should remain in the database. TL;DR the database is already chaotic and hard to work with and this is opening pandoras box |
I had categorized the Proto-Waypoints separately for a few reasons. They were released in December 2012, almost four months before Adoulin itself, and they do not appear in expansion-pack zones. Their functionality is largely disconnected from the Adoulin waypoints aside from kinetic units, and even there the cost structure differs. There is also a small questline associated with them, and unlocking them requires beginning that quest rather than simply visiting the waypoint. And lastly PWP Geomagnetic Founts do not count for "The Geomagnetron" quest to gain access to the expansion. Many of the other content tags I plan to use with the npc_list update already exist in main.lua, but aren’t currently attached to expansion content. This includes, but isn’t limited to, MONSTROSITY, CHOCOBO_RAISING, MMM, MAGIAN_TRIALS, VOIDWATCH, and VOIDWALKER. Rather than introduce entirely new tags without precedent I tried to focus on broader content vectors, systems that represent distinct eras of the game’s development (such as Meebles, Legion, or Eschuteons), or content that is unique or incomplete in its implementation (such as BALLISTA, PWPs, or FELLOWs), or in some cases both (UNITY). |
