It’s kind of mind-blowing when you look at the deep tech we build everything else upon. Fascinated by the internals, I embarked on a quest to reach the level of the original hackers (the real wizards). That led me to build a container orchestrator without touching Docker, wire up a distributed filesystem from scratch, and write a compiler for obscure languages you won't even find in training datasets. Was it tough? Absolutely (and it proved I still have a lot to learn). But diving into the rabbit hole has been incredibly rewarding—definitely worth the struggle!
Nexus Go gRPC Linux
A distributed container orchestrator, written from the kernel up. Direct syscalls,
cgroups, namespaces — no Docker, no runC. Custom CNI-compliant networking, custom
IPAM, distributed filesystem, REST-to-gRPC gateway.
LinguoMT Python HuggingFace
Neural translation for Fufulde and Bafia. Scraped and cleaned 25k+ sentence pairs
for Fufulde, 38k for Bafia — languages , pretty difficult since the only available source we had was from scraping bible.com .
Models live on HuggingFace. Published a research paper.
KmerLex Python Next.js
Mini-compiler for Camfranglais and Pidgin. Lexical and syntactic analysis, error
reporting by position, AST visualization. Compilers are a tough take, i found it to be at least, crazy level of abstraction.
Xplr Java JavaFX
Digital forensics tool for FAT32. Journal reading, slack space inspection, device
cloning.
