… from CUDA The SUSE's version of the NVIDIA driver has 'Supplements:' on PCI device IDs. These cause the open driver to be installed on machines which happen to have a matching NVIDIA card when the kernel is installed. Use a not-well-known trick to work around this. Well, the pull request is from Sept 2024. It is 1.5 years old. It would probably require an overhaul, but I don't feel inclined to do so if nothing happens the next 1.5 years :( |

Thanks, we don't build and publish suse sle images and don't have a plan to do that in near future. We did saw nvidia-driver images built and published from suse but that page is no longer available: https://registry.suse.com/repositories/third-party-nvidia-driver I am not sure if this PR was to keep suse code in this repo for reference or to keep here and build internally. If its no longer needed, I would prefer closing this PR so that we keep actionable PRs open. Let me know what you think. |
