1. Applied changes to pom.xml to update dependencies and resolve conflicts. 2. Patched Counter.java and HBaseClient.java to fix compilation errors and modernize code. 3. Removed the incompatible src/main/java/org/hbase/async/jsr166e directory. 4. Updated src/test/java/org/hbase/async/FiltersTest.java to include new tests and fixed escape character syntax errors in the test file. 5. Verified the build with mvn clean package -DskipTests. The project now builds successfully.
