A second pass was added, with a separate plan file accordingly. About 300 LOC are the planning files meaning that overall we are able to drop 2000+ lines from testing, only reducing coverage from 75.36% to 74.95% in the process. |

This PR begins just as the plan, which will be handed off to (sub)agents, to keep our pre-1.0 release test set more refined and maintainable. This will understandably come at the expense of codecov-maxxing.
This also serves as pilot for how we could approach ai assisted work like this.
Please give a look, and if looks good, we can see what our agents come up with.
