I'm a professional software engineer working on Developer Experience @CloudZero.

Outside the day job, I am enthusiastic about Monte-Carlo search, system dynamics, data science, and toy language parsers.

I often think:

"If I could predict the future, I would have little need for software engineering."

Sadly this has not happened yet. In practice, software engineering has been a useful tool to understand the world. From time to time, I may work on projects to this end; these are strictly noncommercial, hobbyist endeavors.

I main Go but I'm also proficient in Python and Rust. Apparantly one of my other skills is listening.
