I work on real-time graphics and interaction: textures rooted in physics, plus materials and sampling, and whether the frame still reads under light and motion when you stop art-directing the lighting. A lot of that crosses ML in the pipeline, especially generative 3D (meshes, textures) alongside 2D passes, denoisers, and neural textures that ship inside a renderer. For games and interactive work I reach for motion capture when the body is the input, not an afterthought. Generative ML and LLM-backed helpers are worth it when they shorten iteration, but I still want the code and the tools under my own keys, not a black box I cannot patch. Homelab and self-hosted apps are part of that same habit. I also help with simulation code and small home automations.
