Closing — not ready to merge yet.

• pnpm/action-setup@v6 changed its internal action runtime to using: node24 (see action.yml). This means GitHub Actions runner infrastructure must support node24 as an action runtime to execute it.

• As of today, GitHub-hosted runners only support node16 and node20 as action runtimes. node24 runner support has not yet shipped, so all jobs using this action will fail at the runner level before any of our code even runs.

• This is unrelated to the Node.js version our project builds/tests against — that is controlled by actions/setup-node and is unaffected.

Action:
Re-open / re-trigger this PR once GitHub announces node24 runner support. Until then we stay on pnpm/action-setup@v5.
