I wanted to make sure Garry's contributions were noted and noticed that there's no emeritus.md in this repo. I had the agent go through the git history for other notable contributions and I figured why not track the history of each position anyway.

LMK if this is too long or if you prefer a more traditional emeritus.md.

We also are missing others.

Sergiu Petean - Allianz was a TAB member 2024-2025

Creates emeritus.md file documenting:
- TAB-era members who have completed service
- Pre-TAB community coordinators and their contributions (2019-2025)
- Complete membership timeline with exact dates from git history
- Recognition of CNCF staff who built the End User community foundation

The file tracks one emeritus TAB member (Amr Abdelhalem, Gold Member
from Fidelity Investments, served June-September 2025) and recognizes
five CNCF staff coordinators who managed the community before formal
TAB governance was established.

Research included thorough analysis of git history from 2019-present
to identify all documented leadership positions and service dates.

Trying to collate this through the git history sends the llm on a wild goose chase, let's just document the modern era.

Digging through the special cases sent the LLM on a wild goose chase across the CNCF. Per Bob's recommendation we should just start documenting the current ones and maintain moving forward.

I've left Garry off on purpose so he can PR himself in and leave a farewell message if so inclined.
