Two decades keeping systems running that weren't designed to run together. Gaming floors, defense infrastructure, education platforms, enterprise environments. Most of the job is convincing legacy and modern to coexist without either one noticing.
I work across the full stack β which in practice means I'm as likely to be writing TypeScript as I am reading a COBOL trace log or figuring out why a VM won't boot. The through line is usually the same: find the actual problem, fix the actual thing.
When I'm not in front of the terminal I'm probably wiring something, welding something, or building something that doesn't have a tutorial.
pay me and find out.
