This algorithm matches mentor-mentee pairs depending on pre-determined weighting.
WiN Mentorship Matching Script
This script should be run on a Windows computer.
How to run:
- Make sure Python is installed (https://www.python.org/downloads/)
- IMPORTANT: check "Add Python to PATH" during install
- Add all of these files into a single folder (e.g. "WiN_Mentorship_Matching") INCLUDING the csv containing the responses
- Double-click run_matching.bat
- The output CSV will appear in this folder
If something breaks: Email the previous WiN exec or a grad student who knows Python :)
