It seems only the development on GitHub has been discontinued and that @mansj perhaps transfered plugin ownership to someone else, because the plugin is already available in version 3.2.3 on WordPress.org repository, while GitHub repo has stalled at version 3.2.1... Also, plugin description now features "Supported by the friendly team that created ShortPixel." notice, but I'm not sure what it means in practice except that there have been some nags about ShortPixel service introduced recently. @twoelevenjay So maybe now there's a good time to fork the plugin... |
