I followed the steps in development.md, only up to and including npm run build. CHANGELOG.md has not been updated. I saw a recent pull request used pnpm, but I used npm since that's what was in the documentation.
This version upgrade would resolve #263, and allow pagination counter to be used (introduced in 5.1) which was asked about in #254
