Dynamic censoring extension for the Firefox Browser. Currently in active development.
- Censors defined phrases and saves settings to
browser.storage.local - Censors words/phrases (including regex) with per-entry case sensitivity
- The ability to add and remove censored phrases directly inside the UI
- Supports omit lists for domains/pages and a global disable toggle
- Supports 4 censor modes, including substitute phrase mode
- Complete omit list UI and integrate with code
- Add ability to auto-update censoring on settings changes
- Add ability to censor pages that auto-update
- Polish UI and code as needed
CensorCAT is being developed in JavaScript with the usage of Firefox WebExtensionsAPI. This is my first time working on something like this, so feedback and suggestions in issues would be greatly appreciated!
