Hello! I think this a really awesome API and I'm excited to start using it in the coming weeks.
One of the things that is holding me back is the proxy settings. I added this manual proxy option because it simplified some of the IT hurdles I would have to deal with at my company, otherwise.
This way the proxy information can get passed into the program in a more extensible and simpler fashion than setting environment variables directly. If you like the addition, and would like to merge it, awesome! If not, I completely understand. Thank you!
