Thanks for this PR, I used it in a patch file and it fixed a launch crash I was seeing on Android after installing this library. |

Glad it helped! Not sure why it hasn't been merged. Sadly this library feels a bit abandoned at this point and I'll probably try to move off of it soon. |

This is a required change starting in react native 0.81.

The reason I stumbled across it originally is because without this change, the
Pressablecomponent fromreact-native-gesture-handlerbreaks from RN 0.81 onward when this library is installed. It also affected thereact-native-pickerlibrary, which had to fix the same issue.I did confirm that this change addresses the original issue I had with Pressables from RNGH.
