  • Refactors the cache mechanism to allow for namespaced keys
  • Refactors the helper function to split the responsibility of extract the configuration and storing it in the cache.
  • Updates tests to match new structure.

Note for revewers: This PR "breaks" most of the S3 API unit tests as metadataUtils.js is still using the old helpers. Fixes will come in later feature branch PRs.
